Hmm, that is some dream ( if you have not watched any horror movies) but it does have some meaning.

Pool = public place, social life
body parts floating on the pool = disconnected
Blood all over = fear
Begin drowning and choking = failure in communication

That dream may have something to do with your social life. That implies you may be not so connected with people when it comes to social life. You may be shy or may have some issues about being in the public. Projecting friends' body parts with blood all over could mean you are having some fear issues. It is either about them or you do not get respect from them somehow. Or it could just be a symbol of looking for attention.

I am not a psychologist, but I assume this dream has nothing to do with death at all. My educated guess is that there is a question or some type of inner turmoil that is related to your friends that is unanswered or a silent conflict unsolved.
Could it be that you possibly fear losing your friends for one reason or another? Has your friend done something that made you question their morals? Are you planning on doing something that could literally or metaphorically distance you from your friends? Have you had this dream before? Are these freaky dreams always concerning your friends? If so, you need to resolve the conflict for the dreams to stop. Sorry I could not give you a direct answer. Hopefully these questions can lead you to a conclusive results.

I particularly like Yumyum's answer, which touched on the idea of blood being a symbolic representation in your dream. It is widely believed that dreams are a way for our subconscious to work out our feelings and beliefs. Many times our dreams may dispute our beliefs or simply clarify for us what they are by reflecting them back at us, sometimes by showing us the opposite. I've taken a deep interest in dreams just recently because I quit smoking. Rewr?

Yes. I'm on the nicotine patch, and a side effect is that it causes my dreams to be much more vivid. I've had several experiences in which I couldn't wake up from very intense situations in my dreams. (This is called Sleep Paralysis) This inspired me to dig a little deeper and I discovered a practice called 'Lucid Dreaming'. An excellent movie representation of this is "Vanilla Sky", also a movie which I highly recommend called "Waking Life".

You are blessed to have the ability to remember your dreams. Perhaps you can turn it into an opportunity to actively participate in your dreams and take control. I believe there is a great deal you can learn about yourself in this way. I hope to use the practice to get a glimpse at my soul, and to observe my subconscious.

Blood
To see blood in your dream, represents life, love, and passion as well as disappointments. If you see the word "blood" written in your dream, then it may refer to some situation in your life that is permanent and cannot be changed.

To dream that you are bleeding or losing blood, signifies that you are suffering from exhaustion or that you are feeling emotionally drained. It may also denote bitter confrontations between you and your friends. Your past actions has come back to haunt you. Women often dream of blood or of someone bleeding shortly before or during their periods and when they are pregnant.

To dream that you are drinking blood, indicates that you have a fresh burst of vitality and power.

Maybe you could write horror stories or movies and make use of your dreams! Change as necessary. why not? I think that your wild dreams mean that you have a very active imagination that you should use to your advantage in trying your hand at writting!

i think that your afraid that one day your friends blood could be on your hands or that one day they will leave by dying or otherwise and you'll be left alone without them, only with what used to be. until one day you meet the same fate as they did.
that dream can mean different things to different people. it all depends what goes on in your own life and what goes on in your own head. you could be afraid that something will happen but you don't even know you are.
i hope this helps you out.
i hope that you start having better dreams.
