people have told me that marijuana is hard to grow because of it's constent need of light is this true??

It's a kinda weird plant. Long ago, I lived in an attic that had rooms and a bath in it. One day, walking to the bathroom, I noticed something green peeping up from between the floor boards. There was a tiny hole in the roof, and the sun just right there shone on it - and it was a marijuana sprout! Well, of course, it wouldn't have survived.
Just yesterday, in my area, some guy fell to arguing with his brother and went after him with a baseball bat, so the brother called the police, who arrived and found guns and an attic chock full of marijuana plants.
On the other hand, people try to grow the stuff on roofs, for the sun, but that is too hot. And they try to grow it in closets, but that has no ventilation. And so on, so it depends on where you grow it and under what circumstances.
Also, it is a federal offense, and one of the penalties of getting caught at it is seizure of the property on which it is grown.

it's quite easy to grow but to grow weed worth smoking is a different mater. will you be using natural or artificial light ? with natural light you must wait until spring to get started. with artificial light you can grow year round. but as others have stated it's illegal I'm currently on probation for production of marijuana. post again if you wish to proceed

Yes it is hard to grow weed and it also stupid. Do you know if police find that in your back yard or front yard they will arrest you or take it away. They give you warning the first time and if you don't get the first time they will arrest you and take it away. So yes it's hard to grow and the police might arrest you.

That's why they call it weed, because it's so easy to grow. It will grow on marginal land with little to no care.

NO I have an uncle that grew it in bundles in Phoneix Arizona in his Apartment lol....Crazy azz uncle...good times...

if you want it to be good you have to take good care of it i'd imagine. also lots of bright lights. and jail time. trust me.
