I agree that Bush has taken advantage of the almost knee-jerk reaction that the English speaking people have to defend each other and has drawn those countries from Afghanistan into a quagmire. I don't know what to think about Blair, because Bush steamrollered over many of his own advisers and career state department and military experts who also knew better but supported Bush's lies.
You have to remember the public-relations attacks that the Bush supporters put on against public figures and countries in an effort to use the US public boycott of purchases as a way to strike out at disagreement. (Dixie Chicks, refusal to even SAY french)

you have it exactly right ,if you think from the year dot people were people they decided to elect a human being to make the important desicions for the people .through time this became corrupted and the guys at the very top are controlled by world bank (wealthy famillys and billionaires and trillionaires).what right has blair or any other politician to spin anything they are put up ther(suposedly)by us ,the government is of the people ,buy the people and for the people ,yet in reality now its all one big joke being played on the general population of earth .this is what you have to bare in mind (power corupts and absolute power corupts absolutely ) these extremly wealthy people are very different to average people when youve got everything you want and always have ,what next is there to do? anyway hears how they took control and why this is affecting us now and how there plans of world domination will come into fruition in years rather than decades and how people will just go along with it because they will think there fighting for there country's.

Bush as well as Blair were elected by the people to guide their nations as they saw best.
So according to the situation after 9/11 and after a series of attacks the west had been suffering from terrorist organizations such as :
A.- attack on the NY towers in 1993,
B.- the USA embassies in Kenya and Tanzania attacked in 1998,
C.-Warship “Cole” attacked in Yemen,
D.- Marine barracs in Lebanon.
E.- Other attacks against western countries,
- Munich Olympics 1972,
- Vacational Cruizers Aquile Lauro,
- Bombed plane over Lokerbee (Scotland)
- Numerous Planes
and taking into account what they knew about Iraq
Saddam had some years before conspired to kill the first president Bush during a visit to Kuwait, Iraq had celebrated the destruction of the towers, it was known that Iraq permitted the existence of various terrorists training camps in its territory, Iraq attacked Iran, attacked Kuwait, and like Al Capone sacked Kuwait killing thousans of Islamic Kuwaties burned their oil wells, and later poison gased his own people, the northern islamic Kurds.
As if this was not enough it was known that Saddam promoted terrorism awarding the families of human bombs with a bonus of US$ 25,000.00
18 United Nations Resolutions demanded that Saddam open all his doors to permit United Nations representatives to investigate if they had WMD or bacteriological weapons.
Saddam ignored all 18 Resolutions and did not allow the supervision.
These were the numerous arguments and reasons that decided Bush and, Blair to take the only option left.
There is no doubt that Iraq WAS a TERRORIST STATE.

The special relationship dose not mean we go to bed to-gether, far from it. We have a stake in America race-wise, English and Irish were among the first Europeans to go to America and their descendants are there now. We have so much in common, apart from lineage there is language and religion. The two countries are like family cousins, we are more like each other than we are like any one else in the world. As a result we can usually count on each other , to watch the others`back.

I wish we didn't have such a special relationship, it would be nice if Blair realised he has to stop worrying about all the other countries and started thinking about us. Thats politicians though eh? Just people, businessmen.
Did you watch Love Actually? It was on earlier on the old tellybox, I love Hugh Grants speech about our little country.

What are you talking about? There is no special relationship between the UK and the US.
If an average British guy wanted to live in America the authorities there would tell him to f*ck off back to Britain. The same goes for an average American wanting to live Britain. This special relationship is purely in the minds of politicians and members of the public who are gullible enough to believe their lies.
