Well Pepsi owns KFC, Taco Bell and Pizza Hut. Allot of KFCs and Taco Bells are combining into one store. But think about about it for a minute. If you want a Burrito Supreme are you going to settle for a chicken leg? KFC doesn't keep the late night hours that Taco Bell does either. I believe they have two different target markets. I haven't eaten at a KFC in years. Yet due to Taco Bells dollar menu, I swing in there a couple of times a month. Gotta have those half pound burritos! Sometimes it is cheaper to close one store and open a brand new one, than remodel the old one, too. There aren't any Taco Bell closings around here and I hope that doesn't happen. There is no way KFC is any substitute for Taco Bell and I think Pepsi knows that.

Badboybro - you're well out of date - Pepsi sold off their restaurants 10 years ago. Yum! Brands Inc. operate Taco Bell, KFC, Pizza Hut, Long John Silver and A&W. Quite a few of these restaurants operate under one roof in the US, but tend to be separate entities throughout the rest of the world. Each brand has its own management team in the US plus Yum! Restaurants International (based in Dallas) who manage the rest of the world. All ultimately report into Yum! Brands in Louisville.
