Cut back on the caffiene (soda and chocolate too!)
Stay away from the computer and TV screens for 2 hrs before bed
Keep your room slightly cool
Establish a night time routine
Drink soothing herbal teas like chamomile or linden
Listen to chill-out music or natural recordings like rain, the sea, etc.
Have a hot bath or shower before bed
Good luck.

Stay up all night and go to bed he next evening, you will be that tired you will go off straight away. Also, it should help you reset you inner clock.
Or try some exercise, tire yourself out, have a hot soak in the bath then hit the sack.
Tablets are not always good, they can become addictive and make your feel lousy the next morning.
