Tell you friend to stay positive and see a fertility specialist who is also an endocrinologist. I was diagnosed with PCOS 2 1/2 years ago and after two years of infertility treatment. I am currently 2 months pregnant after IVF. It was a tough a road, but I stayed positive. Tell her to go to someone who she trusts. I had given up hope in the beginning but once I got educated, it made things better. All hope isn't gone for her.
