Yeah, well I don't know if he is a "vagabond". But I know this guy who is homeless. He is more of an "old School tramp". Not tramp like people use it more commonly today, more like Lady & the Tramp. HE is a wanderer and takes really good care of himself, he is really very kind and considerate. He is never asking fro anything or begging for anything. He is in his mid 50's and is as normal as the average person. He has been riding trains for somewhere around 30 years. He say he can't remember the last time he has a home. He seem perfectly content living the way he does. He does work day labor and odd ball jobs as he moves from town to town. His name is Walter and seems to be a very nice man.

I was once described as a nomad. I travel all over the place for my work and live out of a suitcase and I'm pretty cool, do I count?

There was once a monk who spent his whole life seated indoors, striving for enlightenment. There came once to his monastery a rugged traveler. The monk scoffed, "Why, you are but a traveler, and know nothing of enlightenment." The traveler pulled off his hood and revealed himself to be the great Master Tseng Hong. "They key to enlightenment," he said, "is not laziness."
