It is the wrong focus. we should focus our attention on the man who beats woman and address that issue. Not a mad man with mental issues. It takes from the real problem and gives the men who batter woman a out. They compare themselves to the Marc Lepine tragedy and feel that what they do is small potatoes. I beleve that more harm is being done by bringing his name into the issue. He should be forgotten and left to rot. The man who is a woman beater is who should be brought to the forefront The women who are terrorised by them are not being harmed by a stranger with a mental illness. They are being harmed by men who have a cultural or taught behaviour.
