We invaded their country, we are causing the deaths of thousands of Iraqis everyday, we are trying our best to hide the evidence by underreporting the violence, and deaths. We messed up their holidays, how can we sit here, and think about our holidays??

I'm so tired of hearing people talk about "support our troops, support our troops." Half of the people saying that aren't doing much else but that. Lip service. I don't need someone telling me that because I am against this illegal deadly war that I should shout it from the rooftops that I support the troops. Anyone in their right mind "supports the troops". I feel sorry for the soldiers in Iraq; I feel sorry for their families. I also feel sorry for the Iraqis. I feel sorry that so many of them have been forced to early graves. Especially the women and children, and babies even. When it is over I doubt any Iraqi will ever honor U.S. holidays, not the westernized version they won't, and I wouldn't blame them.

()By the way, people may well be "anti-United States" but few are "anti-American"...technically speaking Canada (in North America), Central America and the South American countries are not tied to the United States, yet they are more American than the United States. When people think of the United States they see a parcel of land between Canada and Central and South America)They do not see the entire two continents and mistake them for the United States, nor do they see the United States as the entire America.)

Why do you ask your question with "we" as if you are American too?

Your questions and answers have many examples of awkward phrasing that Americans would never use.
Like: more fish out there in the sea.
It should just be: more fish in the sea.
That is just one of many examples.

Why are you trying to hide your Middle Eastern identity?

By the way, I don't support the war, nor do I support Anti-Americanism from a poser.

It seems to me the insurgents are causing all the deaths. We Americans would love for the area to settle down. If the Iraqi people REALLY want us out of Iraq so bad, why do they do everything in their power to make certain we stay? Stop the violence and we'll come home.

Did you see the movie Team America? Well, it is kind of like that. Some Americans think they got a right to mess with the internal affairs of other countries. Thank heavens we haven't all lost our minds.

The carnage in Iraq is a travesty that this President will go down in history for. It is a shame that every night when we turn on the news or open a newspaper we see images of death and devastation, or a new body count.

However, traditionally the holidays have always gone on in whatever conflict or tragedy we are involved in. The best thing we can do for our troops for the holidays is remember them, pray for them and feel for the pain and carnage they have to endure every day, and the sacrifice they have made for this unnecessary war. The troops are still hero's. They do not pick and choose their wars, only their commander in chief can send them to such total destruction.

And you know this to be fact...how? There are consequences to be paid when you kill over 3,000 people. And yes I support American troops & their families, they give their all for my family, myself, my country, my way of life.

They still have holidays. Have you heard of Ramidan? Yeah...they celebrated it like they do every year. This time, they murdered each other. We had nothing to do with that.
