I bought my christmas tree on december 1st and i have notice that it is starting to get dry and a bit brown. Is there anything that i can do other than water my tree?

the trick that worked best for us was to cut off 1 or 2 inches, and then soak the tree in a 5 gal bucket for 1 or 2 days outside....then install in the tree stand and keep water in it all times......then we went to a florist and got some stuff from her that they use to keep flowers fresher longer.......ours lasted about 6 weeks......

Just keep giving it a ton of water,and keep it away from any heat source.It is best not to even put a live tree up that early--better a week before Christmas or so.

Cut the end off again and place in water spray water from a water bottle everyday. on the tree.

someone suggested sugar in the water, maybe it'll work...or steam it a bit, or mist the branches.
