well, i think that us girls subconciously think of this pointed foot, curled toes, and tippy-toes stuff are a symbol of elegance and gracefulness. I myself do all that stuff without thinking about it. maybe it's 'cuz we've seen too many ballerina's feet. lol ;)

For some it's just a habit(I have a tendency to stand on my toes without thinking about it) and others are self-conscious, and yet others have an obsession with their looks or are trying to get attention.
