im 12yr n dnt kno wat to do. my dad cumz hme all the time from the bar and my mom yells at him. thn they fight and my dad throws her around. i get scrd and go to my room with my little sis n bro. i tried to help my mom once n my dad hurt me. if i tel my teachr then thy will call to cops and i wont see my sistr or bother or my mom or dad. i cry al the time and just want to kno what to do

you NEED to talk to your teacher...there may be a short time when you arentall together as a family, but maybe telling will HELP your parents find a way to be better parents and you can be a loving family again...

This is going to be the most difficult thing you will ever have to do. You must get the police there when this is happening. Your dad needs help. Your mom needs help. Your brother and sister need your protection.

Your dad will probably go to jail when this happens. Once he is there, your mom needs to press charges on him. Then, while his is away, he will get the help he needs for his alcholism.

If you don't do this, your mom could end up seriously hurt.

i can kinda relate to you but not really. My dad isn't my real dad and all my life i was beat every time my mom left and went on other date when she was still married. The best thing for you to do is explain to your parent's that you never some peace around you or find somewhere to go and write or think to yourself. if everything gets really bad then tell a teacher or child protective services and it isn't that you won't see you mom, sis and bro. if your mom sides with you then they could put you dad in jail and your mom could get back on her feet. hoping i could help.
