I smiled and laughed in myself.
He kept saying that women are incapable of doing anything, but I was still his boss who had power over him, was more educated, made 3 times more than he did, and had the authority to fire him. I let him be delusional, as long as he was not harassing anybody, was not bitching at other women, and was doing his job. Eventually, he had to go,not because he was stuck in the 13th century, but because he was careless at filing monthly tax reports. The next accountant we got was a woman- not because she was female, but b/c she had an MBA in accounting.

You don't do anything. You keep your distance.

Misandry and misogyny are "learned, damaged behaviors". They've probably been abused horribly by those they trusted as young children. They're both very similar to racism, anti-semitism, sexism, etc.

Yes, in my line of work, i've met many. I work with abused women/families. I teach empowerment, and a better life for those who've lived in misery. I have had my life threatened, but that does not phase me. In some cases, I've even been assigned body guards.

Misogynists tend to fear other men, and they're more than willing to hurt women and even their own children (some have even killed a favored pet of one of their children).

If you've ever seen some of these tortured souls who've lived under the roof of one, you probably would want to do something to help...

DO NOT ever mistake misogynists with all men, or misandrist with all women. There are many good men, and good women out there. Some of the men even work in the same line of work that I do.

Educate yourself well enough to know the "red flag alerts" to watch for. It may be a little thing at first, such as something he says, or how he behaves around you. Misogynists can be both male and female.

The same can be said for those who hate men. Misandrists can also be both male and female.

i visit't say that i have met an finished-blown misogynist, yet my pal honestly has a minimum of a mild detrimental thoughts-set in the route of ladies human beings, if it extremely is smart. he's comfortable with women human beings operating and all of that jazz yet he has a tendency to make blanket statements as well. do not get me incorrect -- my pal is an quite good guy. he's only been damage, and isn't any longer on the brink of his own mom, regrettably. This not in any respect excuses his habit yet facilitates clarify it. i have been advised that his mom had quite the mood at the same time as he became turning out to be up. he's also been taken earnings of by previous girlfriends. He received't admit it yet i imagine that he's damaged.

Yes I have. But then too I have also come into contact with a good many "Misandrists". Please do not confuse "women haters" with people who do not like Their marriage, nor should you presume that all feminists are if fact "men haters", this is far from the truth. In a confrontational society such as ours where people (not just genders) have to vie for a position in the hierarchy of life, it is easy to play the "inequality/bias" game in order to promote one's own cause, or political agenda. The worst thing that one can do is to make a generalization based on suppositious claims or misinformation (be it intentional or otherwise).
The most sexist person I ever had the misfortune to encounter was a woman who believed that not only were men out to get Her, but that we had apparently corrupted the morals of all the women who did not agree with Her view of the world or Her radical politics.
For every women hater there is bound to be a female who for Her own reasons professes to loathing Men (whether the claim is true or specious is for You to establish).

They're everywhere, but they don't always show what they are.

There can be a man (or woman) who thinks very little of everything feminine but who speaks politely and knows to make the effort to hide what he really thinks/feels.

He can seem like a very nice person, but if you were to spend any time with him the mysogeny would start to "leak" out.

Sometimes women can marry one and not even know how he really is until he starts to show disgust and contempt for things that are generally associated with femininity.

So you can meet one and not even know it. If you meet one and its clear right away you can plan to stay away from him in the future.

I did.

It was really scary the way he looked at me. His eyes crawling all over my curvy, cuddly, godess body. I felt so oppressed. I told him "I'm a strong woman I do what I want hear me whrore!!", then I pepper sprayed him and kneed him in the balls. He didn't hit me back, which is surprising considering he was a patriarchal oppressor.

Then he said he hates women. Whatta misogynist!

Anyway I called the cops.

Well probably, but all of them were fed up with meeting misandrists [men haters]. Ya like that word? it's gonna become even more mainstream real soon. Honey.[word used simply to annoy].

Haha, I just read over all the replies and it's clear that people know the word misandrist as well as they do misogynist. Cool, and they learned that word without all of the government sponsered propaganda..... What you gonna do when your privledged little world falls down and you get treated equally with men?
