I always burn sage. by doing this you are "cleansing" your house. you can get it at most head shops, homeopathic stores or pick and dry your own. I just get it lit and drop it in a mug you never need to use again except for this purpose. walk around your whole house, every room, I even do it outside by the front and back doors. just keep moving the mug up and down to keep the smoke coming. this should be your first thing you do before you move in, in my opinion. enjoy and best of luck in your new home.

In Jewish tradition the first thing that you MUST do before moving in is hanging a mezuzah on the entry door. It's a little case with a parchment with lines from Deuteronomy where it is commanded that the doorposts be marked.
The verse reads something like this:
Take these words I command to you this day...tie them upon your arm, and wear them as a sign between your eyes, and you shall WRITE THEM ON THE GATES OF YOUR CITIES AND YOUR HOMES
The case is usually a long narrow case, and is attached to the right side doorpost as you are coming in, with the top tilted toward the inside of the house.
On a more practical note, be sure to bring in some TP in the first load. That way you are not caught unawares. Also, have a picnic meal packed. Have a picnic on the floor where the dining room table will go.

Your cat is showing completely general cat behaviour. there is not any longer lots you're able to do approximately it (nor could desire to you attempt to). Collars with bells do no longer artwork (you have got here upon that to be the case, so get rid of the collar) do no longer pass away him out do no longer placed down traps or poison do no longer save him in (different than at night) in simple terms submit with it - he will in basic terms be catching mice in the warmth climate. i've got had cats for 31 years, and function 3 at modern-day. in basic terms a million of mine brings mice in (and frogs, fish and shrews), yet we be certain that she would not get upstairs with them. We frequently be in a position to seize the stay prey, in a huge jug or glass, then launch it lower back into the backyard (conserving her indoors for an hour, to furnish the creature a guess to flee). frequently, however, the prey will die of the ask your self besides
