Perfume really is a personal thing. Don't be afraid to go and ask for samples and remember that you need to test it on your skin, not one of those cards as perfume smells different on each person, as it reacts with the oils in your skin. It also smells different at different times, ie it smells different an hour after you to put it on, to when you first put it on.

I really like Magie Noir by Lancome. It has a bit more staying power than Chanel no 5 without being overpowering.

because you already like chanel no. 5 and if that's your type, i would recommend chanel chance. It's a little bit more floral and feminine, but still classy and sophisticated, and it smells lighter. If you're going for a total change, vera wang princess, burberry london, and bvlgari are all wonderful! good luck!

Judging by the smell of no 5 and the fact you like it, then you will probably like Chanel Allure.

You could try Vera Wang signature scent, and I also really like Allure by Chanel. Classy, but not too strong.

I think this is a personal choice, I'd go to a department store 7 smell a few, actually you'd get confused after a few so maybe ask for some samples.
