My sister-in-law's baby is due in 2 weeks. Two days ago she started having side pain, which she thought was contractions, she went to her doctor and he didn't even check to see if she was dilated, he just told her she was fine and to go home. Now she has started having dirreah and has spiked a fever of 102 degrees and feeling upset to her stomach. We have both had children and neither of us had anything like this. Could she just be sick or is it something worse?

Even if its just an illness she needs to go to her doc. If he doesnt check her than she needs to switch doctors (which is possible with only 2 wks left).

She could have the flu take her to the er because any type of fever this late in the pregnacy usually is not a good sign. Good Luck hope everything is ok

if she is running a fever she needs to go to another doctor and get checked

Call her doctor....call his service if you have to.....this close to her due date....it could be anything....call him, tell him she has diarrhea and is miserable....he should have her go to the ER to get checked out.
