Gift card. Otherwise... I made a binder for my boyfriend for our one year anniversary. This may work for you, other people liked the idea.
I wrote 110 reasons why I love being with him on hearts I made. I put 3 hearts on each page with 1 reason in each. He liked it! You could also add some pictures of the two of you!

Can you cook? Call his mom up, ask her his favorite desserts, cook them, and then do it like the Twelve Days Of Christmas: give him twelve chocolate chip cookies, 11 M&Ms, 10 yogert raisins, 9 sunfower seeds.... and so on. I know a lot of people who have done that. It's not expensive, and the guys always like it. (To make it really special, you could go to his house early every day before christmas and leave it on his door step with a note...) Good luck!

You should do a candy gram. That's where you write him a letter, and add candy bars into some of the words. For example, the candy bar BabyRuth. EX. Sincerely, your name. A.K.A. BabyRuth. You put the candy bar there. Write a really long letter and put in a lot of candy bars. Nobody can say no to a candy bar!

Oh the best thing I ever got from my Moneyless girlfriend..... A scarf and a quilt that she made. cost her like 9 dollars and 10 hours... and I still LOVE the gifts...
