soo im 23 weeks pregnant.. i had a doctors visit yesterday with my doctor.. Hes a little on the weird side.. Well i have been have bad pains from my belly button up to my chest but not past the chest.. @first i thought it was heart burn but its not burning? and it comes and goes all the time. Not just after i eeat something. I could eat a orange and go to bed and i wake up in the middle of the night with the pains. My grandma, mother, and sister all had bladder stones while they were pregnant. Do you think it could be hereditry. I tried to explain it to my doctor and he jsut cut me off before i could say anything and said "your pregnant get used to the pain" and i really didnt like that.. and i asked him about getting another ultrasound to check it out but he didnt want to...SO annnny help would be great!

I say get a new doctor and get another ultrasound. I don't know if they are hereditary but I do know that being pregnant can cause you to get gall stones. Maybe that is the problem. Good luck

It could be gas pains or something as simple as pain from the muscles and skin being stretched.

it hasnt happened to me, but u should dump that doctor. ask a few of ur friends for recommendation for another doctor and what their "bedside manner" is like.

Get a second opinion if you are worried about it, it can't do any harm.
