Section 1. No alcohol advertisements will be allowed on any commercial or non- commercial
television and radio stations.
Section 2. Advertisements will be defined as the paid sponsorship slots available during all for
profit or non-commercial television and radio-broadcasting time slots. Section 3. Enforcement will be through the Department of Justice Section 4. This ban will become effective July 1, 2007.
Section 5. Any and all existing state or federal laws conflicting with this legislation will be null
and void.

I disagree, even your "bill " is for the good cause and I dont like alcohol neither. It doesn't really make sense. You can't really ban alcohol advertising without television and other media, alcohol advertisment is still every where. Come to a football stadium during a game, and see what I mean. Instead of totally banning advertising on TV, you can make them paid for Anti drinking & driving ads/ organization....

I don't have a viewpoint on this. When was the last time an alcohol ad ever gave any useful info about the product? Three frogs croaking the beer's name isn't a worthwhile ad in my eyes, but you have to consider the ad's audience, I guess. People will get their booze one way or another.

The Government getting involved in private industry is always a bad idea.When it tramples also on States Rights it's even worse.

Yes I think they should run ads for booze.some of them are real funny. whats the prob it's not like it's offensive!!

i dont care ... but why they waste their time and tax dollars on that kind of nonsense bewilders me ... i would be 100% behind a bill banning ALL advertizing hehe ..
