I am 16 and I am graduated from highschool so I go to college. This guy who I believe is about 25 has always been really nice to me for the year I've known him, but recently he's shown more interest in me. We are both in a voice class, and he invited me over to his house where he says he has a recording studio. We text a lot, and I'm not creeped out by him. He's very sweet and charming and everybody likes him. You can just never be too careful you know? With the age difference I'm a little on guard. How do I know if something is wrong with him?

Something is wrong with a 25-year old who is inviting a 16-year old teenage girl to his house. Don't go there. He's too old to be with you, and it's illegal if you're under 18. He should be with girls who are 20-26- no matter how mature you are for your age.
Scott Peterson was "sweet and charming" too and look what happened with him!

Trust your instincts, but also have your guard up. If you do go over to his house, make sure someone else is there. Also tell someone where you are going - a trusted friend or parent. Watch his behavior when you are at his house, and just be careful. You can never know what someone is really like, no matter how long you've known them or how nice they seem. Most serial killers seem like such nice guys, which is how they get their victims. I'm not trying to scare you into not going, but I am saying be careful.

Does he know you are 16?

Take someone with you when you go...like get others from class to go as well. And do you know he's into you as more than a girl from class? Maybe he really likes your talent? But do not go alone, or stay alone! just in case. It is not illegal to JUST be friends.

Hes too old for you and i dont care how much he doesnt creep you out,,you dont know him all like you think you do. I wouldnt go to his house if i were you. You are too young for him to be hanging with. You dont want to get yourself into a situation that you cant get out of.

Your don't know if something is wrong with him, seems funny to me that he would choose someone so much younger than him. I don't mean funny, haha. I think you would be wise to stay away from him. I agree with most of the answer's, that it isn't legal and you both could get in trouble.

okay first of all, that's amazing that you are 16 and going to college....smarty! ;) and second of all I THINK that he is a predator. that is how they start out. they get to know you so that you trust them, and when something bad happens you say "i trusted him, he said he would do this for me and that..... and i never thought that HE would do this..." so, just be CAREFUL please, but also, if you are 16 but look very mature, that may also be another thing, so maybe he isn't one.
