how do you erase a website from the toolbar?

please explian with all steps and will it work for every website on the toolbar

what toolbar ? you mean the URL drop down list where you type "www.anykindwebsite.com" ? If yes, it's pretty easy in IE :

1. Close all running instances of Internet Explorer and all browser windows.
2. In Control Panel, click Internet Options.
3. Click the General tab, and then click Clear History.
4. Click Yes, and then click OK to close the Internet Options dialog box.

in Firefox :
1. Go to Tools and select "Options".
2. The Internet Options dialog window will appear.
3. Select "Privacy" tab.
4. Click "Clear" button next to "History".
5. Click "OK"

If you are using Internet Explorer click Tools>Internet Options>Cleasr History>Delete Cookies>Delete Files

If you are using Firefox click Tools> under History tab click Clear browsing history now

I'm assuming you mean the sites that show up as your typing in an address. If so, what you need to do is delete those pages from your history. Open your browser, type Ctr + H (or go to View - Explorer Bar - History). Find the pages you want to delete and right click them, then hit Delete.
