how do you beat the wonderland level in Kingdom Hearts?

I'm at the part where i have to save alice so she doesn' t lose her head. but when i figh the cards and try to free alice, i always die. one time i got 2 of the wheels blown [with my keyblade] off and then i died. is there anything i'm doing wrong or is there something that i need to do? please help.

Head back into the forest and level up some more. And then head back to the tea garden and level up there. Try and concentrate on gaining another two levels and then head back and face the queen.

Remember to heal yourself with a potion if your HP gets too low and continue to hit the wheels and heal at the same time.

go to the queen and hit her with a spell, that will distract the cards, they will go to her and you get a change to destroy the wheel without them attacking you, keep doing that a couple of times and you'll have it done in no time, and also let donald and goofy do most of the fighting.

Destroy the castle or wheel (whatever) and give donald and goofy potions and hi-poition to carry and let them worry about the cards and concentrate on the castle

Forget about fighting the cards. Just smack the wheels on the towers until they both break, and then you smack the tower, and eventually that'll break.

Just watch your HP so you don't get knocked out.

what i did is only try to break the wheel and let the other two fight the cards, but that battle is easy.
