My period is pretty consistant, in Oct. my period was normal and was 10/04/06. Than I november my period was 11/04/06 but it was light and barly lasted two days. Which is not normal. it normally is 4-6 days. I took a hpt on nov. 9 and it came up pregnant. My next period was due till dec. 5..... Why would it show up that early if i got pregnant in nov? Or is it possible to have been pregnant and didnt know it? any suggestions. I am working on making a dr. appt... but i would really like some helpful insight.

I had that happen when i got pregnant with my daughter. I could tell something was different so i took a hpt on Friday and Monday when i went to the health clinic they thought i was nuts. They told me it wasnt even time for my period but did a test anyway and it came back positive. I had an appointment a week and a half later and i was just past 7 weeks pregnant.

Your last period whether light or not is what counts which is Nov. 4th if you go to this website located at
http://www.4woman.gov/pregnancy/tools/duedate2.cfm?Month=11&Day=4&Year=2006&Submit=Calculate
you can enter that date and you will come up with a due date of August 11 2007 then you can go to
babycenter.com
and you can find out you are now 4 weeks along Good luck

from the dates that u gave, most likely you were pregnant before the spotting you had in november. when i got pregnant, i did the same thing. i would guess that you are probably between 7 to 9 weeks pregnant now. some women will have what they think to be a period during the first month of pregnancy. i did with both of my pregnancies. but they judge your pregnancy by your last full period. so you got pregnant sometime between october 20th and october 30th. hope that helps.

They determine how far along you are by the first day of your last period which would be 11/04/06. You only have to be pregnant for 14 days (sometimes less) for it to show on the test. Go to babycenter.com and go to the expecting portion. Fill it out and it will tell you how far along you are.

Sorry, I can't really follow your questions--looks like there are some typos and words that aren't suppose to be where they are--. There are some women who can still actually have they're period in the first two months of their pregnancy ( a friend of mine). But to be sure, you should set up a doctor's appointment or take another home pregnancy test just to be on the same side.

Probally what you had was not your period. If you took a HPT and it was positive, it was most likely implantation bleeding you had, you most likely got pregnant around oct. 17 or 18th. you would be 9 weeks pregnant if you are. But chances if you got a postive you are. Hope I helped you.

HTP testing can determined and show the soon you get pregnant. You probably got pregnant in Oct. Usually doctors determines when someone is pregnant from their fist-last regualr period.

Looks like you were probably pregnant and didnt know it. Slight bleeding like you described in nov is normal. Your doc will be better able to answer your question. Good Luck and Congrats!

I'd say that hpt's can only detect it 2 months along, since you had your november period I would say the hpt was faulty.
