Oh, you are SOOO 48. Freakin out a bit are we?
Well from 52, I can tell you that the only thing I want back from my younger years is my body. I am WAY more capable of dealing with the world from this side of 50 and I feel I have stepped into a place where I am respected in my community as a young elder.
Come on in sister. The water's fine!

Well I'm positive, they sure aren't as easily duped as they used to be, when they were young and dumb-er. And is it just me, or are they all not quite as amorous or kissably aroused as they once were, poke poke? And whatever happened to honey would you bring me another beer, good grief, you'd think they could get up and give a positive response occasionally? And is there some law that says over 50 also means pounds they've gained and the plus percentage of crankiness since they were 20 somethings? Well at least they drag themselves up and go to work every day. I'm 100% feedback positive, there's nothing better than a mature woman with a big fat paycheck.

I actually feel the same as I did when I was 28 years old... except much more wiser, sympathetic, and more comfortable with who I am. I'm a tad impatient (don't keep me waiting long!) and I don't tolerate seeing others put down or hurt (have no problem stepping in and voicing my opinion). I appreciate the gift of life because I know my time on earth is winding down. I love more. I care more. I hug more. And, dang, I still look GOOD!

I'm a lot nicer to be around now. I smile more and am kinder to people. I am MUCH happier. I still get impatient, though.
