you must have a program somewhere on your computer with different sound effects. it comes along with the sound card (in a laptop the sound chip).
there you can set effects like "Bathroom", "Cave", "Small Room with Rock Walls", "Arena" a.s.o. go in that program and reset the sound effects.
look for a name like Realtek HD Audio-Manager (RTHDCPL.EXE)

PS. i have such a tool with additional karaoke settings beside the above mentioned sound effects, where i can also make the sound faster and slower.

Hard to answer your question since i don't know what soundcard you have. Your problem is most like because the echo effect was enable for your soundcard. You can start by click Start,Settings,Control panel,Sounds, Audio devices and go from there.

Go to recording devices and look in the properties of your microphone. Uncheck the box that says listen. Your laptop is probably playing back the sounds of the speakers as they are recorded through the microphone

Unplug the microphone or block the built-in microphone with thick tape. Or go to control panel to disable the microphone or lower the microphone volume setting.

well my friend i can't tell you the steps.. cuz i donno what is the card audio that you have i mean the kind of the programe... you must try to open control panel and see if you can find somthing related to your audio card.. ( not sounds and audio sittings) and see the Equlizer.. or maybe if your are using the windows media player.. you would find the Equlizer there.. maybe you have changed it from there and you forget..
