I never understood what was so great about it for the longest time. I used http://www.livejournal.com --it's much less trashy.
I got on myspace once to see if I could find some old friends I hadn't seen in a long long time, and I did, so that was kind of cool, but beyond that, as a tool, myspace is pretty lame. Most people's pages are so ugly, hard to read, and I can't stand the crappy music/videos that automatically play. Yuck.

I do. People make out like its the best thing ever but to be honest, it all seems so false. There are lots of perverts out there who can easily fake profiles on Myspace and use it to get to young people. I like to socialise in person or use the phone or Email with the people that I know and trust. However, it can be a good social network for people who find it hard to find friends or people with less confidence, if it is used in the right way.

It is a good way to meet new people and find old friends. The only pathetic thing about it is the fact that everyone acts like it's life, I'll agree with that part. It also lets you show your creative side. I'm into web design and I'm good at it so I show my skills on my myspace page. And you can advertise things on there like a business or music. A lot of music is noticed on there.

Blah. I hate employing myspace; I believe each thing you stated. i like the survey announcements, besides the shown fact that it bothers me whilst somebody is many times soliciting for comments. in my opinion, I SUCK at photos and so I hate putting a photo up. That and adorning my myspace format; I even have style in extra diffused stuff and can't truly hit upon a funky format. Then all of us is so desperate for acquaintances. -_-; once I tell them I in straightforward terms have 32, they think of i'm a lonely loser. 'reason apparently; I might desire to have human beings I even have in no way talked to and have not have been given any choose for a courting on my acquaintances record. the only reason i'm protecting mine is with the help of the fact it replaced into somewhat clever to observe a action picture on line, or consult with human beings. do no longer very comparable to fb the two although.

I thinks Tom was very smart to make such a popular website. I mean he makes lots of money off of it.
Personally, I hate Myspace and think it's dumb. My sister is on it all the time.

I personally think myspace created a lot more drama. Some of my friend's relationship with their parents got worse... then at school they're all like... she was talking sh*t about me on myspace and.... Why did you block me or whatever.

It used to be great to get in touch with all those "old friends" then you relize how those "old friends" were just a bunch of dumb idiots and hoes.
:).
The ONLY reason i use my myspace now is to promote my music.

I'm with you on this Eureka.
I think myspace is a breeding ground of filth and really stupid. "Hey everyone...look how cool and unique I am by putting pictures and music on a website!!!"

Yeah MySpace totally sucks!!! It's so ugly and slow. I found a new site called Fanpop that's really fast and fun. Check it out:
