a local group that houses and gives help to women and children of domestic violence and a local church organization that performs community outreach by giving away weekly food boxes...and whatever else a a person might come to them needing..from a refrigerator to clothes for a new job the pastor helped them find to a car to help get them back and forth to work and docts. appts. They really do great things w' every cent they get and the church is still in a lil run down building they have a free lease on...sorry to go on..but this place renewed my faith in church.

Feed America. This charity has not been formed and should be because we have so many children literally going to bed hungry that as American we don't take a good look out our own back doors to see the starvation at home.

Make a wish foundation, because they sent a young boy I knew to disney world as his wish before he died of cancer and anything that could make a child's with a life threatening illness a little better is a great thing. Between all his time in the hospital durning his short life, he got to experience the 1 thing he wished for.

Katrina foundation ones. It's sad how a simple storm can take so much. Last week I saw a 3 year old in a Katrina survivor shirt and his aunt told me his parents and his only sister died in the hurricane. I feel horrid for the child, he's only a baby after all.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation because they grant terminally ill children's wishes, no matter what the request may be. It gives the children hope and happiness that they'll cherish forever.

Humanity.
I prefer giving money to actual people and not charity funds or anything like that. I don't care what i read or who advocates them. I like to see that my money (ALL my money) is being handed to someone that really needs it.
