Is there any one or thing to call to find a lost ferret out in the cold snow?

I live in Regina, Sask

I last say my ferret on Dec 03 and I think my lanlord let her out when he did his laundry and for the past few days I've serched everywhere in the house, even the vents and no sign of her, I'm afarid she's outside, but I can't find her and I dropped of pic's and my phone # in the naughbours mail boxs. Please I need some help! (sorry a bad speller)

Are you saying your ferret is lost outside in the snow?! Oh my!

All you can do is look for him. They dont have the best skills in finding thier way home, so you'll have to look. Does he have a favorite toy? Maybe a squeeky toy? Put out some food or treats too.

Well I know what I would call it! Stupid..
Maybe you could dress up like a bunny and go out in the snow to look for it. I bet she can spot a bunny a mile away!

I am sorry, but s/he is probably dead by now. Most ferrets don't do well for long periods in extremely cold weather. All you can hope for is that s/he holed itself into a warm corner and found some food. Keep bugging the neighbors and look for tracks. That is about it. Sorry.

It happens quite a bit that ferrets get found by someone, but they don't always get returned. You can always hope that he's save.
