Ok, so I have to put my cat, Taffy, to sleep on Saturday. I wanted to put a picture of her in a frame with a nice poem. So, my question is... Does anyone know any good poems that would be appropriate or know of a website that I could go to?

It really hurts like he!! when you have to say 'later' to a furry kid.
I was just making a tribute to my Grand Dog, Otis. that was put down in Sept. It took me this long to be able to do it without cryin' my heart out and being worthless for the next few days.
It IS THE best site for pets that have passed over.
It is..
www.in-memory-of-pets.com
It is awesome!!!
You can pick the background for your tribute and choices of music and ect...
I have every furry and feathered kid in tributes there.
It's nice to be able to leave something so people can see how freakin' special those little kids are.
I go back once in awhile and it's a nice feeling then too.
Spend some quality time with Taffy while you have the time..if you can.
I don't know what is wrong with her but just remember that she is going to be much better and healthier where she is going.
And she won't ever really be far from you.
Take good care...of you and Taffy.

This is a poem that has gotten me through losing my ^Tagg^ to cancer 3 years ago. I'm so sorry, losing a pet is so hard!!!

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

The Rainbow Bridge one is the most popular one I've seen. And it always brings me to tears since I've had to put down a couple cats and a dog over the years. Some may call it cheesy, but it's really sweet.

I'm sorry for your impending loss. God bless both of you.
