Sounds like trouble to me. If it's attention she wants then I suggest finding a way to not give it to her. Like finding a way to lock her in a room for a little while everytime she does something bad, spanking her, taking away things she likes like the fone, internet, t.v., computer, maybe she's got an item she really really likes and take that away but as a last resort. Whatever the parrent feels is need for her and what is best for her is what I think they should go with.

As a person who work with kids in that nature, i think that your parents has to do self evaluation and ask themselves "what have we been doing wrong?" let me tell you if your foster sister was at my house she wouldn't be acting like that because i would have handle her from day one and not treat her as if she was the baby. And thats probably what your parents did; they gave her everything she wanted and now she has the idea that she can get anything and everything, so i suggest that you give her a whopping as my people (black) would say.

Yes you can smack her, a spanking isn't considered abuse. I'm 15 but when I was little I got my azz whipped and I'm fine and I never did it again. Parents need to stop being so serious about that whole spanking thing because sending them to their rooms and taking away privileges is just a joke. It makes us and the kids laugh.

Your parents are adults and they will handle the situation.

You need to realize that thsi girl is coming out of a situation so bad that her parents were not allowed to have her.

Her behavior is a result of the neglect, abuse, or proverty she has lived with. That sort of thing cant just disapear all at once. She has to heal from it, and learn HOW to behave. She's never been taught anything else, and she doesnt know how else to respond.

Coming from a foster home myself i can say i understand where you're coming from..Ive been with my family for 9 years and we just got a new girl...she does the same thing..well she did until me and her had a nice "talk". i told her straight up that my foster parents cant hit her (foster care policy) but that didnt mean i couldnt im not encouraging u to hit her, but let her know the threat and possibility is there...when a social worker asks..it was just a "sibling fight"..it works trust me

Well you have to think about what she's been through. Maybe punishment isn't the right thing. I would suggest they spend more time with her, and put her into a more loving enviroment. Is she going to counseling? She should be.

She is acting up because she is use to only getting attention when she is bad. You parents need to show her that she can
get better attention paid to her when she is good.

I would say send her to her room when she is bad. They can MAKE her go to her room.

When she is good.......praise her & give her positive attention.
