I think it is either momentum or acceleration. Just need someones help.

Momentum.
Acceleration is the rate of increase of speed, so although speed increases acceleration may not.
Momentum = mass x speed, so if speed increases then so does momentum

A car can accelerate from(!) 60 to 80. It increases its velocity (same as speed) and its momentum (amount of energy). Its acceleration is zero when it drives at constant speed. Acceleartion is speed difference(!) per time unit (second).
