My friend wants me to call her husband's house during the day and trick his girlfriend into telling where he works so she can get her child support payments resumed since he changed jobs. It has to be by phone because he lives about 2,000 miles away. His girlfriend works there too but different hours.

Well, having the number is very helpful. If he does not tell you were he is working(which, I am assuming this child support IS court ordered) then he HAS to tell you were he works . . . it's not his choice to just not tell UNLESS he is paying. I would tell her to go back to the prosecutor and get things moving . . . . which will force him to make a 2.000 mile trip to go to court for an hour(LMAO!!!) Which, I think, he deserves if he has been working for any length of time and has not taken care of that matter himself.

The best way to do this is to send a certified letter with forwarding. The tag on the envelope should tell you where it finally ended up. Many states have child-support arrangements that can be made.

If you want a professional to do it, hire a lawyer. He maybe able to look up the last known address like the Police do.

The most cost effective way to do this is to get a Pre-paid legal service.

Well, if he's getting a paycheck there should be a paper trail because he has to use his social security number so you can track him that way. You can probably go on the Internet and will probably have to pay something to get that information but you can get it. The only other way is pretending to be some bill collector and utility company calling to update their information. And that might not work because you would really have to know what you are doing.

Times are hard these days. Yes I think you should I mean he should have thought about CHILDS SUPPORT. Before he laid down and did the do to have kids. I dont blame her tracking him down to get her payments in. If she got to take care of them. Then what makes him so speical.

Tell your friend to make the call herself. When you want to find someone, use money as an excuse as to why she's trying to find him. Tell her to use a fake name and tell the g/f that some money is due him and she needs to talk to him ASAP. If she says he's at work your friend needs to ask her can she please give his work number, it's her job to make sure he has the money given to him. Then once she has that info, she needs to surprise him.

Are u sure you'er not a psyco about to get revenge? If not, act like a utility company and that you need his new job number so you can update his info.

stop playing games. child support will find out when and where he's working at, if he has a job. If he doesn't, then he doesn't have any money to pay the support with...duh.
