I agree with Thomas--being happy with what one has instead of longing for more that is success to me. Also to me prosperity is having enough and a little more. A lot more would be nice, but why be ar*sed over what we don't have. Life is too short.

Personally I define success as having what you want. To different people thats different things. I earn 13 grand a year so for people who think money is important they would say I'm not successful, but all I ever wanted was to get married & have a baby, so the day I became a mother all my dreams came true. I got what I wanted in life so to me I'm successful. My brother in law on the other hand defines his success as how expensive his car is or owning a quarter million dollar home(thank God my sister married him because he takes me & my daughter everwhere) but to me he's a success already. My father honestly thinks that I am a failure because I got divorced. You see 1 family 3 definitions

Prosperity has to include all of these items. Work, which gives success its value, particularly to the individual. Money, based on the society's standard that you are living in. The Bible teaches that money answereth all things. Sharing, especially the imparting of knowledge; how 'the success' was achieved. Mostly, a belief in something greater than oneself in human form. For if man is the ultimate then the future looks bleak!

success is having the ability to be really good at what you do, whatever it is. driving a train, writing a book or baking a cake. strive to be successful. it is fulfilling.
