seriously, the vice president doesn't really do much, except step in if the pres in incapacitated. The main function is to sure up votes for the president in the election. Connecticut isn't an important state as far as electoral votes, so no one is going to care about Lieberman delivering CT for them. He might give some comfort to voters who are hawkish on defense matters, but vote democrat, so he could help the ticket in that way.

Joe Lieberman would make a great VP for Israel, not the US. We're paying enough for our blind support in that department as it is. Having a foreigner (Kissinger) as secretary of state was strange enough! No other country lets people with loyalties to other counties have powerful positions in their govt.
