Depends on the age range you are buying for, I suppose, but I like to get gift cards or sparkly things. :)

depends on your budget. for about $100, you can get gorgeous Dior or Chanel perfume gift sets, or a Gucci or Guess Handbag or wallet.
Jewelry is always a winner and doesnt have to be expensive. If you dont know this girl very well, avoid earrings as everyone has their own individual taste in earrings. safe bet is a necklace or bracelet. maybe a watch?
massage vouchers are a great idea, and only cost about $25.00.
a cute idea could be a small fish bowl, fill with pebbles and ornament and a gold fish or two. very cheap and can be accomplished for under $20.00.
depending on her age, perhaps a dvd set (ie, Gray's Anatomy, Sex & The City, Desperate Housewives).
You could even put together a hamper for her. Add a cd, box of chocolates, lollies, favourite dvd, necklace, candles etc.
Good Luck!

I suppose it would depend on the age, at least somewhat. But most girls/women love jewelry and flowers. Candles, a pretty scarf, or scented bubble bath is also good. Not sure what price range you are in, but hope this helps. :)

Some things that my friends and I like: beeswax or soy candles, chocolates, stained glass, books (or gift certificates to bookshops), and pretty stationary (feminine, but not "cutesy").

A lot depends on a person's age and interests, of course :)

Well, if the girl is a teen~ we like perfumes, lotion sets, or cute jewelery. If she is an adult... I would go with jewelery, perfume, a favorite CD or Movie, a make-up set... I guess you could just ask her too.
