I was punched a year ago in the head and suffered from a concussion by a relative. I am now worried that he may hit me again. Is it too late to file for charges or anything like that? I am from NY, I dont know of that changes anything.

It just depends on NY's statute of limitations laws. Did you have any kind of police report from the previous incident? If, not, and do you have any witnesses or proof that his punch caused the concussion? If the time limit has not passed, you will need proof.

confident, you may. yet be arranged to be asked why you waited see you later. do no longer waste some time telling us. Yahoo!solutions would be meaningless in courtroom. in basic terms have a physically powerful reason for waiting to document it, when you consider that's the 1st factor they're going to bounce on..

file for a restraining order. if you have medical records to back up your claims, the court will issue you one.
