I think in most states 18 wks is too far along to get an abortion. If she is in a state that will perform it than all you can do is be there for her. Or you get info on adoption for her to look at. Take Care honey.

That is terrible. Show her some sites online about that stage of pregnancy and show her some of the 4d ultrasounds of babies at 18 weeks. I have a 4d of my daughter at 19 weeks and she looks like a little newborn. So cute. She has to understand that the baby is already to far along for that. Just Google 18 week 3d or 4d ultrasounds and also google 18 weeks pregnant and it will tell her everything that is going on with her baby. I really hope she would be smarter than to do that.

Show her pictures of a baby at 18 weeks. You can hear a heart beat at that stage as well as feel the baby moving. Its a baby at 18 weeks. Show her the human side of it and see if it makes her think twice. good luck. Abortions at that stage are cruel and it really is like killing a baby, unlike the very early abortions.

I don't think you can have an abortion after 12 weeks sorry only unethical places will be willing to perfom this so late in the pregnancy why don't you convince her to give the baby up for adoption if she doesnt want it there are millions of people who would like to have a baby of their own but can't have one.

Well, as far as I understand, most places won't do them after 20 weeks for sure. She is going to do what she wants to do though. I had one 2 years ago, it was twins and (ex)husband said he would take our child and leave me. It was the worse day of my life. I would just talk to her and tell her your feelings. She is going to need someone after it is done, because it screws your head up BIG time.

Call the people who deal with this everyday. Try a pregnancy help line, crisis center, church, adoption agencies, etc.
