You ever hear the expression " Plenty of Fish in the Ocean/Sea"?
If there is a big enough flood,.. you'll find those fish on land going to waste in the sun.
Added: I love a couple of your answers (note the thumbs up XD) Science Teacher... Even Mice need a month to get old enough to reproduce. So,.. think any extinction took place there *eye shifts* I would think anything laying eggs is the best thing because some of those lay an egg every 3 days or something insane like that.
Added2: April G: There have been many Great Floods,.. that were real,.. like New Orleans and all the Storms pounding Asia. I just assumed they were going to be talking about one of those since people do not communicate well on Yahoo! Answers normally.
Added3: nick s: There were some sudden floods in like the Middle East for a short time,.. I think a Vulcano was a part of the chain reaction that started that,.. to people in the cities that had never had such an event in their lives it was frightening,.. but merchents were around,.. people got on merchent fllets, ships, boats,.. and lived to tell the tell. They had plenty of supplies,.. things like Alcohol,.. the Merchents were use to takeing long long trips,,... so there was plenty of supplies for the journey to the first non-flooded place. Honey anyone? Mmm,.. Anyways,.. there were alot of "Great Floods" like that. It's basically just a perception of people hit off guard by it and,.. well,.. it takes a long time for that mess to clear up naturally so the people have to move some times.

Since I am not yet existing when the Great Flood happened then possibly Noah butchered some of the animals then gave their meat as food for the carnivores

There is absolutely no evidence for there ever being a global flood.
There is not enough water in the world to cover mountains as is told in the Bible. Even if all the ice melted, the ocean would only rise about 100 metres.
Where did that water come from for Noah's flood - then where did it go?
Of course, the creationists can always answer that "God can do anything".

The Great Flood was recorded in many peoples histories. It probably did not occur all at the same time.
Carnivores had to eat on the Ark, 40 days is a long time. Also there were many small animals that reproduce in very short intervals.(rats, mice guinea pigs, etc.)

the cannibles are a group that believe eating people to be a purification, or as in some Indian cannibles, it is a ritual to the dead. they evolved from a religion, just like the story of the "Great Flood" did.
