burl ives (burl ian ivanoe ives ) was a american c/w singer/actor made records from 1954/1966 famous for a little bitty tear/ the ballad of davy crockett/the ugly bug ball mainly classed as a folk singer/quite a large man with a big fuzzy beard/appeared in many westerns incuding (the big country)
