Each country chooses its number depending on what they think is easy to remember and to dial. Some countries may have the same number as other countries like. Guyana is 911 and so is the U.S.

yes. they all have. for various puropose like ambulance, fire, police, road accident, non-emergency etc. all countries operate like US and india. i live in singapore.
