the company gives us nothing, yeah i appreciate their sentiment though so i go out with my work mates and have too many drinks turn up in no state to work as a show of my appreciation...
feel bad about it through the day so go home early just to show i really do care.
but the chance for redemption is secret santa- no hold onblown that one too...
dammed no santa visiting me this year- been bad------ again.

Well we're having staff drinks at the local pub on the last day of work this year - which should be soooo much fun for me because I'm about 20 years (at least) younger than everyone else in the office - Joy!! Plus I don't really drink alcohol so it should be a rockin' good time! (sarcastic:obviously)
And we're also having drinks and nibblies at the office for all our clients who are also all much older than me and I've never met most of them. So all that will probably be quite boring and uncomfortable - I'll just have my own private celebration jig when it's all over and enjoy my two weeks off : )
