ok i am a 16 year old guy and i go to high school and ever since like 7 grade when all of the guy's started to get thier deep voices. well anyway people have called me gay:
1) cause i hang out with girls most of the time in school
2) my voice isnt as deep as everyone elses
adn a couple of other things, wel i try not to read into this matter much cause hey who cares what they think but those words from 7 grade to 11 now hurt and i just dont know why those two things just automatically make me "gay" i'm not attracted to guys i like girls lots of girls. i just have a deep respect for them and dont think they should be treated like race horses riddin a couple times then sent to the glue factory
what do you think i want to know what you have to say on this matter

People shouldn't be assuming that you're gay. That's your own personal and private business, whether you are or aren't. I know its hurtful, but try to ignore them. Believe you me when you get out of the high school world, girls will want a man who treats them well. In high school its not about a guy who treats you well, its about a hot, popular guy, even if he treats you badly. So just ignore them, you'll be out of there soon and maybe read some books or talk to a counselor about your self-esteem because I would hate to see some idiots' words affect you long term. The voice thing doesn't make you gay but the hanging out with girls thing is something I believe that shows you might be gay. I liked alot of girls,,,a whole lot of girls in high school as well. Had sex with many many of them and had the same attitude towards them as you...Loved em.. You might just be gay and you might not..Really doesn't matter...Don't worry 'bout the dudes callin' ya that makein ya that...it don't work like that..Be you and that's the very best you can be! ^5 bro! First, the use of the word 'gay' as an insult only has power over you because you let it have power over you. Second, you're the one surrounded by girls and they aren't -- sounds to me like jealousy because you're not awkward around girls and they are. Third, Mike Tyson sounds more effeminate than gravelly-voiced Harvey Fierstein, yet Mike is straight and Harvey is very gay.
You are attracted emotionally and sexually to girls therefore are not gay. If you find yourself attracted emotionally and sexually to boys and girls, then you are bi. If you find yourself attracted emotionally and sexually to boys, then you are gay.
Lastly, Mikhail Baryshnikov is purported to have slept with the women of multiple ballet corps during his time as a ballet dancer. My favorite hairdresser is a straight man with two kids who has what would be considered a more effeminate rapport with women. Your personality doesn't determine your sexuality -- who you are attracted to as a life partner does.

You are such a sweet heart and you dont have to change for nobody. Hey if your not gay who cares what they have to say!!! Just keep being yourself and you will find people who will like you for you not for someone you are trying to be. People are always going to talk and think things no matter what you do. So its better to be hated for someone you are than to be loved for someone your not.

You need to tell those that call you that where to go, and say they are just jealous the girls like you better than them, because they think about nothing but their male organ, and not being a wanker doesn't make you gay.

OMG!! U r such a sweetie. I don't think I've ever heard of a guy who respects ALL women. Ur gurls gonna be a lucky one.......... anyways, just be urself babe. theres nothin more attractive then a guy who dosent care wat the "in" crowd thinks. So wat if they think ur gay? u kno ur not. Ignore them! The same thing happened to me last year when I was 15 in Virginia cuz I hung out with my friends who are gurls all tha time, but when I ignored the gossip and yells and whisperes about me, and just kept walking, they stopped. Just ignore it babe. You kno the truth, so theres no reason in getting worked up over a stupid rumor.

I dont have an explaination for you. Kids are cruel and there is no justification for that. What you could do is kick some ones a s s. They wont call you gay anymore after that.

You're just simply more mature than they are. When you've left school you're going to be far more appreciated than they are, women like a man who can take care of them.
And some of them are bound to turn out to be wife-beaters, and the rest just simply aren't able to take care of a woman properly.
