DVDS, id say. The price is fairly close, and dvds are just better. I don't think you can move itunes downloads from your computer, and dvds have special features.

Yes to both questions. You can use AOA DVD Ripper. I have found it very quick and reliable, however it isn't free. You can also go an alternative route and download it from iTunes. iTunes has a pretty wide selection of TV shows, just keep in mind that you won't be able to put it on any other kind of mp3 player besides an ipod and you also can't make it a dvd.

It is more practical to buy tv seasons on itunes because it works out much better. Then it does buying a Dvd because it is easier and faster.

I don't know how the cost compares, but there is less waste and less things to store if you buy them on iTunes. DVD's can start to take up a lot of room on your shelves.

DVD - I dunno about you but I would rather watch TV in a comfy seat in front of a big screen rather than in front of a computer, but I suppose it depends on whether you've got a bit screen on your computer.
I find that it's much easier to share DVD's with friends, and I like the satisfaction of building up a large DVD collection!

DVD since you can upload them to your computer and its so victorious that you own it and when you use itunes you can search for media files on your computer (that's if you uploaded it on your comp. yet) and then sync them to your ipod!! I don't have 1 yet but I'm already loading stuff on my computer and getting ready for when I get it on Christmas!!!

DVD! since you'd have the licensing to use it, you could always upload to your personal player... then you have both options available to you.
