Yes. If this were 6 years ago, he would probably be upper mid card talent. The talent level in WWE is down right now, which is why Cena is on top. The only reason he got over is because the WWE pushed him to the moon and allowed his character to perform over the top ridiculous stunts (i.e. the rap concert on Raw). It is the Goldberg affect, push the guy as hard as you can, let the announcers scream his name all the time, pipe in crowd chants whenever he shows and eventually people will cheer for him.

Cena is absolutely overrated. Yeah, girls like him, but honestly, the only time he impresses me is when he is lifting heavy dudes, and occasionally on the stick when he is a heel.
People don't hate Cena because they are jealous of him... people hate Cena because he is shoved down our throats. He isn't contraversial, he's just overpushed.

The girl above makes me ashamed to be an Orton fan because she clearly only likes him and Cena for looks. Cena on his best day is merely average and should be the kinda guy who is rewarded with the US/IC title now and again. He is not main event calibre, and is only there because there is noone else to sell. If he ever turns heel tho, watch his marks turn on him....
