My mom is fine with it and she saids I'll be a great model. But my dad and my mom are pentecostal and my dad is strick even though he buys me stuff. I know I can be a great high fashion model but I need to tell my dad. I go to church and tell God everyday that I wish to be discoverd by someone and become something. I trust in God but I need help!!!!

I'm a christian to and i understand what you mean i think the best thing for you to do is to tell your dad because you don't just want one parent there for you you want both. It is important to have both parents participate because if something ever happened where your mom couldn't be there at the time dad needs to be there. i love to model I could never deal with myself if I didn't tell my dad because it would seem like you have something to hide when you don't. Modeling is great so enjoy is while you still can, with all of your family.

the key word here is: RESEARCH!
Parents will take you more seriously if they see that you have researched and planned out an agenda of some sort. Tell them you are serious about this and how important it is to you. If your in highschool, compromise with them. Say you will take classes at a community college so if the modeling thing doesnt work out (not to bust ur bubble but hey it happens) then you will have a backup plan. What you really need to do any modeling thing is to have headshots or a portfolio. Ask for them to possibly make an investment, pay half or loan the money to you.
You need to be sympathetic and understanding about their side of the argument and then they will be to your side as well.

tell your dad that you are wanting to do something with your life that would really get you somewhere and you think this is the best path for you. he probably will take it hard, but in the end, he will forgive you. I mean he's your dad right? shouldn't he be proud of you no matter what?

Do you think you can really make it? Wheither we like it or not modeling and acting are really tough careers to break into. Modeling can really be harsh. Consider what you need to be a model. If you truly believe you can break into that business then I would suggest you talk to your father. He will find out sooner or later. Let it be from you.

First off if he your dad cares about you he will support you in your decision, but if he might have doubts if it will work out for you. so i think that you should tell him but keep a back up plan just in case all goes wrong and keep your faith in God it helps tremendously

u should ask ur dad if he will like u it if u were a model.then if he asks u if u want to be one, then say yes.if he asks u in a nice voice.
