I've always had a dream to play football again and now I have a chance at a small college in North Dakota.I'm in good shape to play and have no aliments holding me back.I really don't have anything holding me back, and the coach thinks I should play. I just wanted some opinions from other people besides my family.

Obviously you still have a dream to play (assusme you contacted the school), I say go for it. Especially if you have nothing to lose. Along with that, you would be in a good position to mentor the young guys on the team. Even if you go and and figure out that 2 months down the road it isn't for you, at least you tried and know.

Good luck!!!

Do it.

You will probably be better than you ever were back in the day. Commit and make everyone around you better because of your leadership and drive. I played college football and a 29 year old came in for a year to take my position. That forced me to grow beyond my years in a hurry. A lot of great things came for me in the later years, because I saw how things needed to be.

You have to see a man to be a man!

I think that it's fine, I played at a D-3 school with a 29 year old, and he was a good player. As long as you can play, and meet the eligibility requirements, I say go ahead. You only have one chance to do something you love. Go for it!

yes a 32 year old should play football if he wants to and if he meets the same requirements as other players.

If you want to and you can, then go ahead.

But if that was me, I wouldn't. Why? Because even though 32 year-old isn't old at all, but you aren't really in your teens or early 20s anymore. Do you really want to break your arms, knees and have concussion when you are 32?

But if you decide not to go for it and will regret later, then go for it.

Go for it pal ,I'm 66 and I often think I could play again. Not as fast , but I could put a heck of a tackle on someone. When I watch these pros miss tackle after tackle, I often wonder if it's lack of skill or laziness.I had a 4 yr. scholarship to Northern Illinois from Lou Saben in 1958 but I was already signed up for the US Navy and went in 3 months later.I'm proud of serving my country ,but who knows.Best of luck,I'll be looking for a rookie, old guy, in the pros.

I'm 35 and I'd love to play football again.
All my friends are older than their years though... so no more backyard full contact football.

Age is nothing but a number except when it comes to dating. Nothing wrong if that what he wants in life and isn't hurting anyone then so be it. People in America sure do have an age fetish and attaching it to aspects of social conformity.

Example: By X number of years you should be married.

By x number of years you need to be out of your parent's house.

YOU, are a real loser. Totally pathetic. Your mom should kick you out and you should get a girl friend. Damn! You don't have a grown man's physical strength. Your fantasy says a lot about you.
