I had this very same thing. I was about 10 weeks pregnant also. they could just have your dates wrong. I don't want to scare you, but that wasn't the case for me. I had a blighted ovum. It is where the baby didn't form, but I was still "pregnant". You still get the morning sickness and all of that. I had to have a d&c to have the sac removed. If I were you, I would get a second opinion, just incase there could be a baby. I wish you the best of luck!

I had an ultrasound done at 9 weeks pregnant and it was quite apparent that there was a baby in my belly it was small and looked like a jelly bean but there was for sure a baby in there, I think you might have a blighted ovum which happens on occasion and if this doesn't work out for the best better luck next time, I don't see why they wouldn't be able to see the baby at 10 weeks pregnant, but who knows maybe they are wrong and your baby is fine we can just hope for that to be what it is best of luck to you

I had the same too. The pregnancy hormone levels dropped to almost a level where my doctor told me 'there is no baby'. My ultrasounds were showing no baby in the sac whatsoever. They do refer to it as 'blighted ovum' which basically means the 'baby' stops growing or stops forming.
I had to have blood tests almost every day for 2 weeks to keep an eye on my hormone levels, which declined to almost nothing. By my 14th week, literally overnight these levels doubled and tripled and by week 15 - there was a baby! I had given up and had accepted that I had lost my son....So don't lose hope - it will work out just fine. Good Luck to you!

I think a lot of ppl have that problem that early on... I did... but my first ultrasound was at 5 weeks, so they did another at 7 weeks, and everything was fine... so do your best not to stress, and see what happens at the next appointment. They could have your due date off, and you could be earlier than you think... they thought I was 12 weeks (from tests and my period) at my 5 week appt.... so they actually thought I miscarried, so they wanted to check it again that 2nd time. Goodluck!

One can hope that everything is all right...but I had the same problem at 9 weeks...there was a sac but nothing in it...its called a blighted ovum and quite common. Unfortunately it ends in miscarriage. you will have two choices if this is what it is...wait for it to pass or have a d&c

I heard of this before and i think it is a scam. Doctors do not know everything. Wait and don't worry. In about six weeks you will feel the baby moving. Get another doctor in the meantime.
