Can you tell me what happeneds to Harry and Ron and everyone else? Iwould read the book but I just dont have the time. Is it true that Harry Goes bad and Dumbledore gets killed. I just reread Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and I cant stop thinking about the two other books.

ok, so now on to #6 ( i answered ur question regarding #5).
there is a new minister of magic (fudge got sacked). he visits the Muggle Prime Minister and tells him some horrible tragedies and deaths were dark wizards' faults, not random catastrophes. obviously voldemort supporters are getting out of hand, ministry of magic can't handle the huge problems.
dumbledore asks harry to help him before school starts. they are trying to persuade a professor Slughorn to teach at the school. he is Fat, lazy, jovial, and the kind of person who loves networking (likes to drop names, maintain contacts to get free gifts, etc), and favored Lily Potter as a student. he at first doesn't want to teach, but meeting harry persuades him and he takes the position. harry assumes it is the Defense of Dark arts position, but it is actually Potions... so Snape is the new DADA professor!
draco's mom and sister pay a visit to Snape and wormtail... narcissa begs him to take care of draco, and protect him from what the dark lord has asked him to do. snape promises and does the Unbreakable vow, to finish what draco is supposed to do. bellatrix does not trust snape, thinks he is a dumbledore supporter.
harry is suspicious of draco, but no one cares. he watches him on the map, finds that draco is spending a lot of time in the room of requirement. he becomes obsessed w/ finding out more, but can't get in cuz he doesn't know what draco uses it for. meanwhile, there are a few botched murder attempts. 1) katie bell gets imperiused to take a cursed necklace to the castle.. she fights w/ her friend and accidentally touches the necklace. she starts screaming and writhing and has to go to the hospital wing. 2) prof slughorn has a bottle of Rosmerta's mead that was supposed to go to Dumbledore, but he kept it for himself. he opens it when ron and harry come to him for some help regarding love potions, (ron accidentaly eats a drugged chocolate and is "in love" w/ some girl), and when he drinks the mead he is poisoned!! almost dies.
during this time ginny is really popular, has a few boyfriends. ron & harry catch her kissing, and ron embarrasses her. she screams that everyone else has "snogged" someone, but ron is the only one who hasn't. the next day, he is snogging lavendar all over town, and hermione gets hurt because they were starting to like each other (he is mad that she has probably snogged viktor krum). harry is developing feelings for ginny! btw... fleur delacour is engaged to ginny's brother bill!!
also, harry has an old book w/ writing all over it, from potions. it has spells and notes and tips, and he ends up being awesome in potions class. everyone is jealous, esp Hermione. it says "property of the half blood prince". he tries out some of the invented, hand-written spells, and one is horrible (sectumsempra).. he uses it against draco and his chest explodes and blood gushes Everywhere. snape fixes him up, but learns thru legimancy that harry has the text book. harry hides it in the room of requirement... which ironically is where draco has been most of the time mending a vanishing cabinet that connects Borgin and Burkes to Hogwarts.
all throughout this time dumbledore has been having secret lessons w/ harry, teaching and showing him about voldemort's past using memories he's collected from random people. they learn that slughorn has a secret, only harry can persuade slughorn to give him the real memory. harry eventually uses a cool potion Felix Felicious (liquid luck) to get it, and they learn that V has made 7 horcruxes (the ultimate evil way of keeping yourself immortal). dumbledore shares his ideas of what the horcruxes are. he promises harry they will go together when D finds another horcrux. they find one and leave hogwarts. harry is sure that draco is up to something, and gives his felix felicious to the gang.
they go to check out the horcrux.. D has to drink some mystery liquid in order to find the locket, which severely weakens him. he consistently asks for Snape, and they go back to the castle to find that there is a Dark Mark over hogwarts. harry is under his invisibility coat and is petrified by dumbledore, and can't move. draco uses that time to disarm D, and is scared but needing to Kill Dumbledore, under V's orders. other death eaters come out including snape, and snape kills D using Avada Kedavra. as harry is not petrified anymore, he runs after snape, and altho snape doesn't kill him they exchange words and jinxes. they death eaters run off, and the rest of the gang are ok except for Bill who is completely disfigured by a werewolf.
they hold a funeral for dumbledore. his portrait appears in the headmaster's room, sleeping. harry tells ginny he cannot be w/ her, as V may try to kill her to get to harry. hermione and ron have gotten together by this time. harry decides he will return to privet drive one last time, and not go back to hogwarts as he needs to destroy the horcruxes and Voldemort in book 7.

Ok its best to read the seventh book becuase it goes back over it anyway but basically dumbledore has died as snape killed him because the death eaters invaded hogwarts and previously harry and dumbledore had gone to a cave to retrive a horcrux (part of voldemorts soul which means voldemort cannot be killed until all the horcruxes dont exist anymore. However it turned out that afterall they went through to get it the horcrux was a fake. Have fun reading the 7th book!

sasmallword's answer definitely covers it ... the biggest controversy is whose side snape is on. there is quite a bit of logic to each side. the rumors support the seventh book coming out in july ... ya gotta try to read it!!! there are so many nuances that a summary just won't cover it. there are a lot of storylines that are left open that eveyone i know developed their own theories on.
my mom wen't back to the sixth book to check on things, then back to the fifth and finally just read all of them over again. she would call me at these random times w/new questions and theories.
