I wouldn't say I'm a music freak, but I would hate to run out of space! Your input is greatly appreciated! best answer, anyone?

Yes. you might as well. It is only 50 bucks more to double your storage capacity. I just bought an 8 gig nano on Ebay for $220. Before that I got a 4GB for $70 on ebay. So I would recommend checking on Ebay for sure.

definitely go for more memory. once you buy it, you will probably get more into music in fact. i know i did with itunes available.

when you settle with less memory, you can never take that decision back with iPods. I was offered a 30 GB iPod photo, or a 4 GB iPod video, and I chose the 30 GB older model, and I'm glad because I ended up filling it fast, and much more than 4 GB.

Short answer...yes. And actually I have a 30GB. and im almost out of space! Get the most memory ipod you can afford, it is worth it. Especially if u get an ipod video

If you have a lot of songs you'd like to add. The 2GB holds about 500 songs.

You probably should but I would get an 80GB for myself because I already have over 4GB of data and I'll have a lot more in a short amount of time.

i have 2 GB and I haven't ran out of space, i would say save your money, if you get to a point where you are out of room go back and take a look at some of your songs, i bet there would be ones you could get rid of

yea go with the four gig. in a few more years youll have a lot more music and b glad u have the extra space

If you know you like music and will download a hell of a lot of songs and podcasts then yea go for it.
