I've served for 22 years in the service, two wars. Nine visits to the gulf, I've interdicted 11 tons of cocaine on the high seas. Shot engines off of drug boats. Sewed by buddies face shut after a boat crash. Delivered a baby. Rescued 250 people in a 65 foot fishing boat. Collected body parts at ground zero and insured our people were handled with dignity and respect. Flown security for the President of the US. Fast roped onto ships looking for bombs. Spent about 19 of my 22 years away from my family never been in this country for my own birthdays since i was 17.

I can not say that I have actually done anything for my country. My husband has served in the military for the past 5 1/2 years and I think all of our military are the ones that have given and done for our country!
I guess I have done something, I support our military, no matter what the CIC has them doing, they do it and they do it by choice of joining the military! They are not forced! I thank them and pray for each and everyone of them!
I also stand up with my hand over my heart, while being quiet and still, no matter where I am, out of respect, when a flag is being raised or lowered and also during the national anthem. We are taught that at any military base! It is just pure respect! And I dare anyone to make fun of someone doing that! My military pride is very high!

More than enough. They sent me to Viet Nam where I stayed and fought for 3 years only to be spat on when I arrived home. I was recalled 2 years ago after having been out of the Marines for over25 years to serve in Iraq and Saudi Arabia. I was forced to kill people in both conflicts. This has haunted me everyday of my life because I was forced to kill women, children and elderly amongst our enemies and those actions have resulted in 3 suicide attempts on my part.
